December 31, 2000: As 2001 looms on the horizon, the band has concluded that a full-length LP is not only improbable, but also unneccessary. In lieu of such, they have opted to release "Brand New Wave" as a five-track EP. It will be a demo of sorts. The tracks are intended to be:
-Toddlers in Love
-Tangent Lines
-Plato's Ramblings
-Oz
-Presence of the Prime
Jan. 9th may still not be a realistic release date, but the band assures all of its fans (both of them) that they will make every effort to issue the cd as soon as possible. Thank you and have a Happy New Year!
November 16, 2000: It's been a month since the news was updated, so I thought I'd clue you folks in on the current "happenings," or "haps" of the band. Practice this past weekend went well. Recording did not. Many problems with the 8-track digital recorder we're using. However, we were able to accomplish something. Matt and I finalized a beautiful version of "Bring Tomorrow Slowly." That brings the recording tally to three: "Oz," "Who Got Da Flava?," and "Bring Tomorrow Slowly" are all now finalized. Along with a few tracks over Thanksgiving break and much work during Winter break, the album should be prepared on schedule, for January 9th. If you can't wait that long to hear us, show up at EAHS on Friday, December 1st. That's the date of EAHS's Battle Of The Bands. We'll be there along with Sifter and some other prob'ly crappy bands. But, come for us and Sifter anyway, and maybe Sunday Night Special. Who knows, maybe there'll be another band there that doesn't suck? Hope to see y'all there.
